#3: The DYNAFIT Success Story
On March 13, 2025, it was time again: GUURU, together with our longtime partner DYNAFIT, hosted the exclusive D2C Community Circle — this time in a very special setting: the brand-new DYNAFIT headquarters in Kiefersfelden, with a direct view of the Alps.
The D2C Community Circle is much more than just an industry meetup. It’s a space for genuine connection, open exchange, and a shared vision for the future. Decision-makers from leading outdoor sports brands like the Oberalp Group, Bergzeit, Arena, Fischer, Hanwag, X-Bionic, UVEX, Ortovox, and Lupine came together to tackle the challenges of digital commerce — hands-on, honest, and on equal footing.
Peak Performers Among Themselves
As guests arrived around noon, the atmosphere was already filled with anticipation and lively conversation over coffee and hearty snacks. At 1:00 PM, GUURU officially kicked off the event and set the tone for a day full of insights and hands-on experiences.
Right after the opening came an absolute highlight: under the motto #SPEEDUP, guests got an exclusive look inside DYNAFIT’s in-house ski factory, where performance meets high-tech. Together with ski construction expert Ludwig Dengg, attendees didn’t just learn about ski production — they helped build one, featuring a sleek custom GUURU design. A rare experience that left more than a few eyes sparkling.
No Buzzwords, Just Real D2C Insights
After a short refreshment break, it was time for the core of the day: the D2C Community Circle, featuring insights from Benedikt Böhm (CEO, DYNAFIT) and Alexander Nehls (Global Marketing Director, DYNAFIT).
Alexander Nehls presented the use case “By Athletes, for Athletes”, offering a compelling look at how DYNAFIT has built a strong, loyal community around its brand — and how that closeness to the target audience is shaping their e-commerce strategy. Authenticity, trust, and active community engagement are becoming key success factors in the world of digital direct-to-consumer.
The open, practice-driven exchange made one thing clear: successful D2C requires more than just great products and sharp marketing — it takes a strong mindset, real proximity to the customer, and the courage to break new ground.

After a short walk to the hotel, we wrapped up the day with a shared dinner at Hotel Bergwirt — a fitting conclusion to a special day filled with impressions, new connections, and tangible takeaways.
